Following spectacular outdoor concerts in 2021 and 2022, Opera Edwardsville returns to its summer stage at Edwardsville City Park on September 8, 2023 at 7:30pm for a free community concert of operatic highlights. Enjoy stars of the opera under the starry night sky for this open air concert!

A musical program of grand Italian opera, the golden age of musicals, and a few Wagner arias, too!
Opera Edwardsville returns to its summer stage at Edwardsville City Park on September 8, 2023 at 7:30pm for a free community concert of grand opera and selections from grand Italian opera, the golden era of musical theater, and a few epic Wagner excepts, too! The musical program includes arias and ensembles from grand Italian opera, featuring selections from Verdi’s Aida, Puccini’s Turandot, Rossini’s Semiramide, Dvořák’s Rusalka, Leoncavallo’s Pagliacci, Mascagni’s Cavalleria Rusticana, and more.
